Mandate Order is an ancient battlefield simulation strategy game that integrates base-building, tactical deployment, and philosophical school-inspired strategies. Set in a turbulent era where "nations have no fixed borders, and survival hangs in the balance daily," players do not take on the role of an emperor unifying the realm. Instead, they step into the shoes of a "border defender," tasked with building a military fortress from scratch, managing resource flows, adopting ideologies from various philosophical schools, and fighting to survive amid the crisis of impending enemy invasions.

"War Architecture" with Free Layout: A gridless construction system that allows players to arrange defensive/offensive structures (such as city walls, crossbow carts, and beacon towers) based on terrain features and battle formation logic.
"Hundred Schools of Thought" System: Recruit scholars from different philosophical schools; each school’s ideology influences production, public morale, and military decision-making.
Dynamic Environment & Survival Pressure: Seasonal weather and climate are not just visual elements—they directly impact farming, troop movement, and resource allocation.
Intuitive "Line-Drawing Deployment": Execute tactical intentions (e.g., encirclement, charge, holding positions) through simple drag-and-drop operations to tackle large-scale battles with up to a thousand troops.

Mandate Order will open its first public demo during the 2025 Steam Next Fest (October 13–20; exact timing subject to Steam’s official announcement). This demo aims to collect feedback from core strategy game players. While the game’s basic systems are already in place, it is still in the early development stage, with limited content and polish. The development team sincerely asks for players’ understanding and suggestions.
