Greetings Brinehunters,
For the latest 1.3 update, we included a new playable area, new blessings, and an updated skill tree for the Soul Wheel.
However, many of our players have not liked the changes to the skill tree. Our idea was to both expand the skill tree and also encourage players to specialize their characters by unlocking some, but not all, skill nodes. Our community, however, feels this is not a good change and has requested the ability to unlock the entire skill tree again.
The purpose of our game is for it to be as fun as possible, so if our players tell us something isn't having its intended fun effect, we will of course listen!
We are working on an update right now that will enable players to unlock all nodes in the skill tree again. All the new nodes in 1.3 are staying; you will simply need more soul fragments to unlock everything.
Please keep in mind, however, it might take some time to QA test this before we can deploy the change on all platforms. We just wanted to make a quick announcement to let everyone know that we hear you and are working on it!
Thank you for all your feedback, Brinehunters. We’ll keep refining Abyssus according to it, and we are always listening to your voice on the Forums, on Discord, and on our Social media, so keep it coming!
