Hey everyone!
Today we want to introduce another of the foggy locals of Croak Island, meet The Cartographer!
The Cartographer is a curious individual who is interested in finding out all there is to know about this island he lives on.
Here are some early sketches representing the ideas behind the character.
You can usually hear The Cartographer before you see him, his signature tune can be heard quite far away from wherever he decided to set up his latest camp. The other frogs don’t like The Cartographer much, his experiments are disruptive, and he always seems to be in a rush to find the next cool thing.
The Cartographer is fascinated by The Sailor and his boat. The morning after The Sailor arrives, it is The Cartographer that wakes The Sailor with his bumbling investigation of The Sailor’s boat. He can be found in different locations around the island, mapping out every nook and cranny. Maybe once he is done, you can get a copy?
