Check out new gameplay glimpses, details from the Frontier Developments team, and thoughts from key F1® figures in our new video below:
In BE THE BOSS, we take a look at the pivotal role a Team Principal plays in the world of F1®, with insight from commentator David Croft and F1® Managing Director of Motorsports – and former championship-winning Team Principal – Ross Brawn.
Croft and Brawn emphasise the role a Team Principal has of being the figurehead of a team, both to the public and within the inner workings of a constructor. Taking on the role of F1® Team Principal, players in F1® Manager 2022 will control those key decisions and responsibilities, plotting a path to success for your entire team to follow.
From creating race strategies at the track, to improving facilities back at HQ, to scouting and recruiting the best talent, and so much more in between, it will be up to you to handle the pressure and weight of expectation of being the boss. F1® Manager 2022 delivers an array of depth, data, and detail to help you make informed decisions for your team. Whether it’s the attributes and confidence of your drivers, the marginal gains delivered from every new car part developed, or the finer points of every circuit on the calendar, it’s your job to find opportunities for improvement.
Members of the development team, including Game Director Andrew Fletcher and CEO David Braben, also bring more information on what players can expect later this year, along with new looks at menus, options, and key gameplay features. From what areas of your team you can expand, all the way through to what instructions you can give drivers during a race, the Frontier team cover the main aspects you’ll oversee in the game.
