Dear Fellow Stalkers!
What a day: Bean Stalker is officially released, now with a full multiplayer mode available in all three environments!
We would like to say a huge thank you for all who watched our project grow and encouraged, supported and helped us. Your feedback has been invaluable. We are glad that we have such an amazing community of Stalkers!
Gameplay Changes
- The Arctic map has been added to multiplayer.
- A minigame has arrived into the Multiplayer Treehouse. (Have fun solving the puzzles!)
- The grabbable items are now synchronized in the Treehouse.
- If you want your bag inventory to stick to your hand, just keep pushing the inventory button on your controller.
- When you're resurrected, you will get the same amount of health points as the item can heal - minimum 10%.
- You can unlock the puzzle chests with simple keys on the Desert and Arctic map.
- In the multiplayer mode, you can turn around and use the Pause Menu even if you're dead.
- You are able to revive someone with a Golden Cactus.
- Event items have been synchronised: you can finally trade with your friends.
Visual Updates
- The Big Beehive, Anubis, Fish on Stick, and Ores all got new textures.
- You will be able to see open chests even from a distance.
- Toxic effect has been added to cactus spikes so you will be able to detect easily if there's one in your arm (ouch!).
- Texture has been updated on the five shots grappling hook magazine .
Major Fixes
- We have fixed the tutorial chests so they open when you complete the puzzle.
- Multiple enemy synchronization fixes were done, so you should be able to see/grab/damage them (which is very useful).
- Opening the Pause Menu will not break your gameplay anymore.
- When a player who has lower progress than the others joins your multiplayer session, the level selector will maximize the accessible levels for everyone based on their maximum level every time.
- You will not see the same room in multiple servers anymore.
Minor Fixes
- You can no longer hear when someone else hits an enemy.
- The Ammo Scanner didn't scan calling for the Snake Rifle ammo: it's fixed now.
