Based on the valuable comments our Crows sent us after our 1st GLOBAL BETA, CROWZ went through a period for renewal to show an improved quality.
From balance to sounds, we devoted ourselves to providing a more enjoyable gameplay experience.
Please check the 'newly-updated CROWZ' below!
1. New Content and Features

▶ The new map named “Grey Stone” is added to the Blood Zone mode.
- The map consists of a large oval island leveled with 3 major combat routes.
- The map has a new concept of Q-on meteorites falling to the ground which is only active in Grey Stone for now.
- These random meteorites inflict damage to players and emit contaminative gas for some time.

- A new feature “Gas Mask” (press 6 by default) will be available for players to protect themselves from this gas.

▶ A destruction physics has been applied to tree objects in all maps.
- The effects of destroying objects will be subdivided by the type of inflicted damage (bomb, vehicle, collision, etc.) to make the scenes more naturally in the next update.
2. Optimization
▶ New server regions are added in the following locations for stabilizing the network: Europe, North America, and Asia.
- Players will be automatically logged in to the region with the best possible network condition they can experience at the time.
- The locations are subject to be added or changed to provide a better network after conducting several tests.
- Please note that players may still experience a high ping rate depending on the location of the region even on the same continent.
▶ We did in-game optimization and graphic improvements as follows:
- Improved environmental resource texture resolution (buildings and various objects).
- Fixed terrains, especially banks and some walls that hindered players from moving and vaulting in Sellain Valley.
- Fixed graphic issues which seemed to be DoF and/or blur which stressed players’ vision.
- Fixed the in-game light to be brighter in Sellain Valley.
- Optimized the framerate by the option of graphic resolution (optimized CPU and GPU).
3. Sound
▶ We fixed the resources and improved the sound system according to the feedback received during the 1st CBT.
- Implemented systems, called HDR and Side Chain, which help the overall sound balance, and further improved the system for the sound to be heard clearly.
- What is HDR?
☞ A system that subdivides the sound category into various subdivisions including environment, explosion, gunshot, character movements, footstep, etc., and sets the output priority to avoid different sounds mingled with one another.
- What is a Side Chain?
☞ A system that automatically lowers the sound volume of the source with lower priority in case two or more different sounds output at the same time.
- More detailed sound balance fix is in progress.
- Applied provisional changes to some gunshot sound resources with low quality and earshot fix.
- The whole gunshot sounds will be replaced gradually.
- Fixed the audible range and too high volume of helicopter sound for players to confirm its location.
- Adjusted the explosion earshot and fixed the small explosion sound volume.
- Fixed the sound volume and adjusted the audible range value for bullet hit sounds to be heard clearer.
4. Balance
▶ We received feedback on balance during the 1st GLOBAL BETA, and reflected the changes as follows:
- Adjusted the damage by distance for SMGs to inflict less damage in long-range.
- Increased the attack range value of Helicopter Launchers.
- Decreased the activation time of a tactical skill called A10 and increased its damage and range value slightly.
- Decreased the damage and range of a tactical skill called Artillery Strike.
- Increased the damage of Sticky Bombs against Tanks.
- Changed the Q-on mining phase to be faster as the in-game time passes for speedier gameplay.
- Decreased the time taken for grenades to be detonated, and added a cooking feature by holding G.
5. Others

- Added a camera zoom-out feature (hold RMB by default) to reflect the feedback that it is difficult to scan surrounding areas while falling.
- Added targets for testing weapons in the Training Ground.
- Added a lock icon to the uncapturable sites in Blood Zone.
- Added ending scenes and changed the whole UI design of the leaderboard.
- Fixed the fire to be extinguished when characters enter the water.
- Added 66 weapon attachment resources (2 to 7 for each weapon).
⭐️ Preview of the Developers' Plans for the Nearby Future
