■ Introduction
Squad Operation's objective is to form a party with a small number of mercenaries, acquire Q-Ons, and escape safely.
Just like its name, it is a mode that can be played with a small group of members (up to 4 people). So, conducting the operation with your team and surviving is crucial.
Let’s get into it!
■ Details
In the Squad Operation, players enter the battlefield by getting off the plane to the Target location, with the matching currently being available only on the Blue Whale map.
Up to 100 players can enter one battlefield with each squad consisting of 1 to 4 players.
※ Standard equipment when you enter the game is fixed. However, by pressing the hotkey (O) on the standby map, some equipment can be replaced. Guns can be obtained by opening the shiny box (cube) in each area of the map or by killing enemies.
※ Equipment selected on the standby map is saved and will be applied to the next Squad Operation.
1. Game Rules
① Victory Condition: Win if the following condition is met.
- Escape via the helicopter after acquiring 100,000 Q-Ons
② Map: There are few villages on the map where you can farm freely.
※ After a certain amount of time, a meteor falls in a specific area, creating a Contamination Storm around it, and the contamination gradually spreads. If you do not wear a gas mask, your HP will decrease.
③ How to obtain Q-Ons: You may obtain Q-Ons by looting the ones on the floor,
by installing a Q-On Extractor in a specific area, or by acquiring the enemy’s Q-Ons after killing them.
※ A message is always displayed on top of the screen from the moment an enemy squad collects 100,000 Q-On and more.
④ How to escape: After acquiring Q-Ons, you will be notified of a helicopter arrival. You can check the helicopter’s landing location on the world map.
※ After some time upon receiving a message, you will be able to see the helicopter moving towards the landing location on the world map.
If you do not board the helicopter for a certain period, it will turn around and can be called for again after a certain period.
If the helicopter is not requested, the last helicopter is automatically requested.
※ You cannot escape if you do not have enough Q-Ons before boarding the helicopter.
However, even if you do not have enough Q-Ons, you can escape by boarding the last helicopter.
※ If you are hanging on a helicopter ladder for too long, a message will be displayed.
⑤ Equipment such as weapons and others are evenly distributed on the world map, and depending on the region, there may be fewer things to loot.
⑥ Respawn is unavailable on death, but you can spectate the battle from your remaining squad’s point of view.
※ Special Rules
In Squad Operation, there is an item called Zeta Virus. After acquiring and using it, you will revive as a Zeta Mutant if killed by enemy attacks.
Zeta Mutants have excellent mobility, but if they do not kill enemies, their HP will gradually decrease.
Items
1. Q-On Extractor:
- A collectible item that needs to be installed to collect and acquire a large amount of Q-Ons.
2. Loadout Drop Marker:
- A tactical device that is used to supply set in the loadout weapons.
3. Ground Bomber Call Device
- A tactical device that is used to call for a bombing attack by A10 aircraft.
4. UAV Radio
- A tactical device that is used to call for a UAV that can detect the enemies’ location in a specific region for a certain period of time.
5. Military WalkieTalkie
- A tactical device that re-summons a dead member of the squad.
6. Tactical Shield
- A tactical tool that provides cover to defend against attack from the enemies.
2. Rewards
When the Squad Operation ends, you will receive EXP and Squad Operation points according to your contribution, and equipment based on your level can be unlocked.
