Welcome, Cosminers.
Today we want to talk about one of the most destructive and visually striking forces on Tau Ceti F: fire, a mechanic that affects environments, enemies, and your own infrastructure in ways that demand constant adaptation. Fire is a persistent threat, a tactical tool, and a reminder that every decision has consequences. FIRE IS LIFE AND DEATH!
Fire at the base… Mission failure can lead to catastrophic destruction. As the base collapses, fire spreads uncontrollably through the modules, filling corridors with flames and smoke and becoming an additional threat to evacuating Cosminers.
Burning monsters… Hostile life forms can catch fire and when they move around, they encounter chaos before finally collapsing. Flamethrower The flamethrower allows you to attack a larger group of enemies, setting the area and enemies ablaze with continuous fire. BURN YOUR ENEMIES TO THE GROUND AND PROTECT YOUR BASE!
Bombs - Bombs create delayed explosions and destruction, setting the area on fire and even... you can now place them on your opponents. They require careful timing and positioning, especially when used in confined spaces, as they can even harm YOU.
Land Mines - Landmines are another tool that causes explosions and fire. When you place them on the ground, they are harmless until... As soon as you or your opponent steps on them, they explode with sudden hellfire that changes the shape of the battlefield. They are just as dangerous to careless Cosminers as they are to unsuspecting enemies.
Rocket Launch Fire - Rocket launches unleash intense fire and heat, scorching the ground and nearby structures during liftoff. This moment is both a technical challenge and a visual reminder of humanity’s fragile foothold on Tau Ceti F.
Orbital Attack... Orbital strikes rain down fire on a large area, leaving a trail of destruction in their wake. These attacks represent the pinnacle of destructive power, turning groups of enemies into debris.
Remember, Cosminers... fire is a powerful tool for survival, but it can quickly turn against you. Use it wisely to have even more fun surviving on Tau Ceti F!
