Today's update introduces some new content to the world of CITY WARS: TOKYO REIGN.
SURVIVAL MODE
SURVIVAL MODE gives you the freedom to edit and design your own COMBAT CASE with no restrictions. In this mode, all cards, guns and charms are unlocked for you to play with, and your objective is simple: starting with 500 Health, make your way through the COMBAT SIMULATOR in a bid to survive as long as possible.
Not only will this give expert players a new mode to try and conquer, but it also allows newcomers to experiment with the game's systems in a more casual environment.
NEW CARDS
5 new ADVANCED CARDS have been added to the game.
These cards are designed to provide extra synergies and deck building options. When played, each card will buff the ACCURACY and DAMAGE values of any matching DURATIONS in your current hand. Feel free to experiment with these new cards immediately in SURVIVAL MODE to see how they work.
LEADERBOARDS & ACHIEVEMENTS
We're pleased to announce that STEAM LEADERBOARD support has been added for both DISTRICT RUN and SURVIVAL MODE. Your top scores will now be posted globally and can be compared with other players. We've added a data migration feature that should automatically upload your previous scores to the DISTRICT RUN leaderboard, but feel free to stay engaged and try to post better ones ːsteamthumbsupː
Finally, keep a eye out for some new STEAM ACHIEVEMENTS included in today's build. These mostly relate to SURVIVAL MODE, but we've added a very challenging extra just for our expert players.
