Vacuum Pilot has been out in Early Access for over a month now. We are far from done and have worked on improvements and a big new feature. While we can't announce a date yet, we want to share what's coming soon with Patch 0.5.0!
New Feature
Online leaderboard ghosts
Starting with update 0.5.0, every entry in the leaderboard will have a ghost attached to it. The game will automatically download and display the ghosts of the current leaderboard. This way, you can directly compete with people on the leaderboard and see how they achieved their records!
Improvements
Main menu overhaul
We are giving the main menu a modernized look by moving the main menu buttons to the top and bottom of the screen.
This also gives us more space to display news, patch notes and additional information.

Settings menu overhaul
We have also improved the Settings menu and placed every available option in a corresponding category. This should make it easier to find the option you are looking for.
Lighting
We have identified a problem which caused the lighting to look pixelated while the camera was moving.
In some circumstances, lighting could also cause a high GPU usage and frame stuttering.
These issues will be fixed with the upcoming update.

Level Editor: improved lighting color selection
Currently, when changing the color of a light source, you are limited to a set of pre-defined colors to choose from. With update 0.5.0, we will add a color mixer which will allow you to choose every color possible.
