Welcome to a fifty-two DevLog for Alaska Gold Fever!
Hey there, brave prospectors!
Today, we're setting up camp and leaving our mark on the wild landscape of Alaska Gold Fever.
Join us as we dive into the creation of tents and the mechanics of leaving footsteps on the grass!
Shelter in the Wild
Can you set up a tent? i can but i will not go to the mountains to do it ;)
Tents – your portable home away from home. In Alaska Gold Fever, we’ve made sure that setting up a tent is both easy and rewarding
Take a look of how we made this in 3D program.
Yes, an artist must use real life photos as a references ;)
Tents and camping play crucial role in our game. Rest and recovery in the wildness is important!
Footprint Mechanics: Leaving Your Mark
I've wanted to show you something interesting: our little "footprints" mechanics.
You can leave your mark if you go througt tall grass. Bandits can track you down easily because of that! But footprints can be used for your advantage... to hunt wild animals (or bandits...) !
i just love some interesting environmental interactions :D
I hope this short GIF shows it.
Grassy grass - rendered in real time ;)
