The content mentioned in the article has little to do with the English area, but Steam stipulates that the announcement needs to be in English, so I translated it and posted it in the English area.
Since June 20th, I have been questioned by many people for material infringement. Recently, after re-checking the game reviews, I found a new discovery. The first infringing bad review published by a trumpet without an avatar named "shenjingtaomo" was written by a certain person. Chinese players (maybe their peers) disguised as foreigners in English and posted infringing bad reviews in the simplified Chinese comment area (Note: English comments will be posted in the English area instead of the simplified Chinese area by default - while he is in the simplified Chinese area The written comments in English are not visible by default in the United States, but users in simplified Chinese can see them at will), which are malicious rumors with rhythm.
This account has no avatar + English name trumpet. There are a total of 14 comments in the account, all of which are negative comments (all of them are insults and direct attacks on other games, without any comments on the gameplay and content). Among them, disguised English comments were published in Jianzhong 12 times, and Chinese comments were published twice (one of which stated that he was an Argentine account). Why the Argentine? Some players who use China may not know that, under normal circumstances, buying games in Argentina will be 60%~80% cheaper. Obviously a professional black. I have screenshots of the account's historical comments, but due to the rules of the platform, it is not convenient for me to publish these unprovoked abuses of other games in the announcement. If you are interested, you can find him in my bad comments section.
My game quality may not be that high, and I will accept any gameplay complaints and suggestions. But before I responded to the infringement on a large scale, the refund rate once exceeded 40%, and after the response, it turned to around 20% (of which the black screen accounted for a large proportion). The overall positive rating also dropped from 85%+ to 70%, while the monthly positive rate was less than 40% at the time.
If you're a gamer: I officially reiterate. The sources of my materials are legal, all of them are licensed for commercial use, and there is no infringement. My first negative review of infringement is a rumor published by a Chinese disguised as an English user, which is a malicious rumor.
All materials of this game (art, music, programs, and all other content) are 100% genuine commercial licenses or my self-made content.
Some of the protagonists' vertical paintings and CGs are products of Gee-kun soft (from the booth store, Fanza store, and RPG Maker official store, all of which are licensed for commercial use), some CGs are pixiv (P station) drafts (commercial license), other art The material is also from the regular store (commercial license).
There are more authors listed in the in-game Credit file, if you have any further questions please contact my ci-en or email me.
If you are a game maker: I suggest that you read the comment area more, interact in time, and don't be sluggish to develop. It's not easy to make games. I hope that people will not be maliciously spread rumors like me, but they will not be able to find out, resulting in wasted effort.
timeline:
1: There are always detailed material author descriptions in the Credit files covered in my game (all my material sources are legal, all officially commercialized, and there is no infringement)
2: During the review period when the game was not on the shelves in June, I had already marked "All materials in the game are genuine licenses" with blue accented text at the top of the store.
3: The game was officially released on 6.17 China time, and it was listed on the hot list of new products.
4: On the first day of release, the favorable rate was 100% (not the game quality is excellent, most of them are support-type praise, thank you here).
5: (In my impression, it is No. 6.19) Due to the BUG in the ending and the problem of the game content, the evaluation gradually dropped to about 90%.
6: A trumpet named "shenjingtaomo" pretended to be an English comment and made malicious rumors about my game.
7: I responded in English to this rumormonger posing as an English user. However, it is clear that some Chinese-Chinese users cannot accurately understand English replies, and everyone "can only think of it as a foreigner, criticizing the Chinese for misappropriating materials", which is an extremely serious accusation.
8: I have always misunderstood that "because there are many pirated users in China, it is understandable to be suspected", so every time I encounter new (from various languages) infringement negative comments and questions, I will reply one by one.
9: I received bad reviews during the period, sales were affected, private language attacks, and personal insults, I was very sad for a time. But after learning about the actual situation of things today, I understand the true appearance of things, and I feel much more open-minded.
10:2022.10.15, the question about infringement has not stopped, I have updated the more detailed "Commercial License Instructions" on the game store page.
11: 2022.10.21, I accidentally read the bad review and found that this malicious rumor written in English was a disguise from a Chinese, and I felt extremely disgusting. So respond to the rumour-mongers.
Additional statement:
I only hope that players who have followed or purchased this game can understand this, and have no intention of gaining any traffic and word-of-mouth support.
I'm just a nameless producer, and this is a trivial matter for everyone. Being informed and clearing up misunderstandings is the most satisfying outcome. People who spread rumors and abuse others are really scumbags.
