We've been buried in development and while we've been getting new features in, we haven't had a good build to update the demo with. At this point, we're going to just drive the full game version until we can drop an Early Access "Pre-Release" with the core base game functionality.
This is the current plan we're looking at kicking off later this month:
- Figurine Scene Simulator Early Access Pre-Release - this would include the base game functionality with 300+ characters across 9 different free DLC packs.
- Deluxe Unlock Update - Adds the deluxe unlock functionality to the game. With this release, the deluxe functionality will be available to try out for free, allowing to you select different color variants, turn on/off clothes components, and use facial expression and body blendshapes. While you can use the features for free during this time, we'll also offer a deeply discounted bundle in the store for people who want to purchase now to support the game development. (Each franchise will have its own moderately priced premium unlock so you only pay for the franchises you're interested in - the bundle will give a discount on purchasing all of them at once.)
- Ambient Channels Integration - We're currently working on a release of Ambient Channels which will allow you to download episodes individually (it will also include 6+ new episodes). This FSS update will provide integration so you can open Ambient Channel episodes from Figurine Scene Simulator and drop your characters into rich environments.
- Full Early Access Release - In addition to several features we have planned for this release, we will also add another 100+ characters, but also make the deluxe unlock features available only if you've purchased the appropriate deluxe unlock DLC. We'll still have a big discount on the bundle, but it will be reduced from the Early Access Pre-Release discount.
- We'll provide more details on the Early Access roadmap once we hit this point.
