Hey friends!
Thank you so much to anyone who has supported the game so far.
It's so important that we all keep spreading the word so that we can make this hyper-stylish roguelike the best it can be. Continue to chat with us on Discord and share anything you like about Remnants of the Rift on TikTok, Twitter and Instagram. Remember to tag us too.
If you remember our first update, you’ll likely remember being introduced to Morgan. So we thought now was a good time to introduce you to someone else… Down Moog! You’ll get your chance. Today we are bringing you a look at…. Thomas.
How did He Get Here?
Thomas is one of Morgan’s oldest friends and even family, too! He was engaged with Morgan’s sister, Clark, in the past, but The Accident changed the trajectory of Morgan, Thomas, and Clark’s lives forever…
After that dark episode, he became very close with Morgan. He works with the one of Remnants of the Rift’s Factions, V.I.S. but his second “job” is helping Morgan dive into The Bast to accomplish their contracts. Morgan is on the field in The Bast while Thomas provides intel and also built the Modulator that allows for Morgan to explore that alternate dimension.
Where are He now?
If you’ve already played the Remnants of the Rift demo (download today!), Thomas is Morgan’s best friend, he works as Morgan's Navigator, the link to the Human Dimension when travelling to The Bast, keeping track of the Modulators' status and other miscellaneous tasks.
He’s such a Capricorn
Those born under this sign are logical, competitive, and obedient, but may have the occasional spell of the old gloomy doom. Thomas, essentially working two jobs, has little time for hobbies or cooking (as his go-to meals are prepped in the microwave). While his home is in a perpetual state of disorder, he is still an inventor that Morgan can absolutely count on.
Thomas is a vital part of this story, but it isn’t just he and Morgan there are many more. This character update is going to be a series throughout our pre-launch, so stay tuned for more deep-dives into our quirky cast of individuals!
Until next time,
Take care,
Bromio
