Greetings, Cyborgs,
Since the early access launch of QANGA, we’ve taken the time to collect and analyze each of your feedback points. Your input is invaluable, and today, we wanted to be fully transparent with you.
First of all, a huge thank you to everyone who has taken the time to play, share their thoughts, and support the project. We are a very small team, and your support has an enormous impact on our motivation and ability to grow QANGA.
Regarding your feedback, here are the major points we’ve identified:
Ship control
Opinions are divided. Some of you love the current feel, while others find the controls too rigid. We’re working on finding the right balance to ensure the experience remains immersive without sacrificing maneuverability. Additionally, HOTAS/joystick support is highly requested, and we’re committed to implementing it in the future. Lastly, while not frequently mentioned, we’re also working on new ships to add to your fleet.

Content variety
Many of you pointed out a lack of diversity, both in terms of enemies and environments. Refuel Towers are often seen as too repetitive, and Yellow Wall, while praised for its design, feels too empty. We’re aware of these issues and already have plans to enrich the universe. For now, we can share that new environments are in the works, and a major effort is underway to introduce more Sanglines to expand the creature roster. And we shared recently a little overview of what will come very soon.

“Tech demo” impression
Some players feel there’s a lack of depth in the content, making the game seem more like a showcase than a complete experience. We take this very seriously and are focused on adding more activities and features in upcoming updates.

Optimization
Many reports have flagged performance issues, even on powerful setups. We’ve made some improvements recently and will continue working to make the experience smoother.

Demo
A QANGA demo titled “Road to Yellow Wall” is available with no time limits. It was updated in early October 2024 and, while it gives a good sense of the full game, it lacks certain content. We’re planning an update for the demo soon to better reflect the full QANGA experience.

Of course, there’s still a lot of work to do. But what you’ve also made clear is that QANGA has a great potential. Your belief in our project drives us to push ourselves every day to make QANGA the game we all dream of playing.
For those who want to keep track of the project’s progress, we’ve made a roadmap available here. It outlines what’s planned and what we’re currently working on. We’ll soon reorganize and update the roadmap to better reflect our priorities and make it clearer for you.
Lastly, if you’re enjoying your experience, please consider leaving a positive review on Steam. It helps us tremendously in growing the game’s visibility and supporting its continued development. And don't hesitate to join us on Discord to share your love for QANGA!
Thank you again for your patience, passion, and support. Together, we’ll keep moving forward.
The QANGA Team
