Welcome to the Steam page for Valfaris: Mecha Therion – a new side-scrolling shoot 'em up from developer Steel Mantis, and sequel to the studio's previous game, Valfaris. It's still early in development and won't be out until late 2022 for PC and consoles, but you can expect an action-packed shmup with a challenging, old-school feel, crunchy low-poly visuals, and gore galore!
Take a look at the reveal trailer:
If you played Valfaris and are interested to know why Steel Mantis wanted to switch from action-platformer to shmup for the sequel, programmer and designer Thomas Jenns discusses it in a post on the Playstation Blog.
We're looking forward to sharing more Valfaris: Mecha Therion info with you soon!
