Welcome back Wanderers,
after ~4 years of development the time has finally come for the 1.0 Release of Striving for Light!
Thank You ♥
At this point we want to thank every single one of you for being part of our journey! From the very first start of Early Access nearly 4 years ago to the 1.0 Release. Without your support, feedback, bugreports and engagement this game would not be what it is today. <3
We are deeply grateful for your support!

With the game Release we will also kick off Season 1 and put the Early Access seasons to rest!
1.0 Release Event
July 11th -July 20th, 4pm CEST
We are also hosting a 1.0 Release Event with "Design with the Devs" prices running from July 11th -July 20th, 4pm CEST. If you want to participate drop a short message in #🔥release-event-chat on our discord to sign up to be eligible for prices and get the @1.0 Release Event discord role.
Early Access Progress & Save Files
Due to the extensive amount of new features like the introduction of character slots the save file system has changed drastically. Therefore meta progression from the Early Access, as well as your active hardcore characters, can't be migrated to 1.0. We spent the time developing a save file fixing tool that will pop up and let you select save file fragments that can be migrated and carried over.
Now we want to wish everyone a lot of fun with 1.0 and all the new content!
