Digital Crafter announced today that their new fighting game, Fight of Steel, will hold a limited test play starting from April 27th. The game is said to be including elements of role-playing and adventure. And it is now open for application. They released the latest development progress video for the community.

The game is still in the process of development. The developers improved game graphics and sound effects between the playtest version and the video.
Fight of Steel is a fighting game set in a futuristic mechanical style; it is the sequel to the Digital Crafter fighting games after two years. The game is with a very different style from the previous game, Fight of Animals. But the Digital Crafter team insists on making fighting games more accessible for players to enjoy the charm of fighting games. They simplified the input for moves. While the input commands are simplified, the EX move and the OVERDRIVE (overload) system allow veterans of fighting games to play with a more advanced game experience.


The first easter egg released by the official team is the heroine of the story mode - Artemis. The first time a fighting game and VTuber collaborate. From the in-game artwork shared here, you can see Artemis wearing a combat suit. What kind of story and interaction will be between her and the protagonist?

This beta test provides not only the general Arcade Mode but also other Modes of the game. The dev team included the first three chapters of the Story Mode, Challenge Mode, and Online Matches in the test version.
