Hello, community!
In our first community update, we gave you a summary of everything that had been publicly released about Hell is Us over the past year.
Now that we’re approaching the release date of September 4, 2025 (just three months away!), communications are ramping up, and you’ll be hearing more and more about Hell is Us—whether on our Discord, social media, in the press, or through content creators.
Hell is Us Press Tour
May was a big month for us in terms of meeting with the press and content creators during our North American and European press tours.
The North American tour took place at our Rogue Factor offices in the Mile-End district of Montreal. Representatives from both international and local media, as well as content creators, responded to our invitation for a hands-on experience with Hell is Us!
We could tell you more, but here’s a video that captures the energy of the event:

No time to rest! We then packed our bags and headed to Bigben Week in Paris, France, where European media and content creators got their turn to discover Hell is Us.
At this event, our Creative Director and Art Director, Jonathan Jacques Belletête took the time to answer your questions posted on X :

What did they think of the game?
Here is some of the coverages that the press and content creators published about their hands-on experience of Hell is Us!
"Hell is Us is my most anticipated game for the rest of the year" - Greg Miller from Kinda Funny Games.
"Still, I was very invested in the bizarre, new-weird setting that Rogue Factor has crafted, and it so far has the makings of being one of 2025's more original and creative takes on the action-RPG experience. " - Alessandro Fillari from IGN
Hell is Us Brings a 'New-Weird' Approach to the Sci-Fi Action-RPG - IGN
“Hell is Us is a promising confluence of ideas. I enjoy the blend of Zelda-like dungeons, Elden Ring’s sense of discovery, and detective-style investigations and puzzle-solving. (...) Rogue Factor has carefully shaved opaqueness from its intentionally challenging puzzle design. This makes even the simplest problem-solving feel more rewarding.” - Marcus Stewart from Game Informer
