Good day, Orpheans!
Let's chat about one of the most integral parts of Moros Protocol, your arsenal. Weaponry is everywhere on the Orpheus. From swords, shotguns and shocking pistols!
WEAPONS
Weaponry throughout Moros Protocol ranges from explosive, to electrical, to slashing and more! In these dev diaries, we're going to explore some of the weapons you will find in upcoming playtests and tease some weapons of the future.
Charging Thunder ⚔️
This trusty melee weapon is the first thing you will pick up in Moros Protocol. It is the only thing that will protect you when you play the game for the first time! A standard crew vibro-blade replete with a nano-sharpened edge that can charge to increment its damage output.
Master Enforcer 🔫
Developed as standard issue for crews expecting to require above average firepower, this reliable handgun comes with nano-enhanced ordnance to avoid weapon jamming and lower recoil.
Nano Ravid 🔫
A sleek rifle designed for the upper echelons of command, it blends high tech nano-polymer ordnance with elegance in looks. Fueled by a high-pressure plasma canister, it allows 20 shots per reload.
AUGMENTS
Weapons aren't the end! Augments can be found all throughout the ship. These enhancements can be attached to your armour or your weapon to give it a boost. Here are a few examples!
Health Modifiers ⬆️
Increase your Max HP with these augments, each more powerful than the last. You have Kevlar Padding, Armor Padding and even a Torso Exoskeleton.
Stamina Modifiers ⬆️
You'll need to stay steady and quick on your feet if you want a chance to defeat the Darkphage. Picking up augments that increase your max stamina means you'll never be caught off guard. These include Adrenaline Control, Muscle Fibers and Joint Actuators.
Additional Jump ⬆️
Finally, there's plenty of platforms around the Orpheus. Gaining the high ground doesn't mean it's over, Orphean. However, with an augment like Antigravity Push, you can climb almost anything.
You will be able to find all of these weapons and more in the upcoming playtest this weekend (starting 11th of April). Be sure to sign up once it goes like at 4pm BST.
