Closed Beta Test 2 Begins!

Dear Wolves and Lambs,

This is the KILLER INN team once again.

We are thrilled to announce that the second closed beta for KILLER INN is now underway!

📅 Schedule

Begins: Friday, October 3 at 3pm PT / 6pm ET / 12am CEST (October 4)

Ends: Monday, October 13 at 2:59pm PT / 5:59pm ET / 11:59pm CEST

Those who have been granted access to the test will receive an email notification from Steam, after which they will be able to download the application and launch the game. If you receive an email, make sure it was sent from the official Steam domain before clicking any links.

Anyone who participated in the last beta, or anyone who was selected for this beta, may take part.

This closed beta test is primarily being conducted to test network services and game balance. For this reason, testers will be added gradually as the servers become ready. Even if you haven’t received an email yet, you may still gain access during the test period, so please keep an eye out for emails from Steam Playtest.

KILLER INN is still in development, so you may experience unexpected issues, network latency, or performance drops. Also, we’re currently working on tutorials that guide you through KILLER INN’s unique game rules and mechanics, but these will not be included in this beta test. So, before jumping into this dangerous game of death, we recommend familiarizing yourself with its ins and outs.

Q4. How do I join the beta?

Click the “Request Access” button on the game’s Steam store page. If you already gained access during the first beta, you’ll automatically be able to join CBT2 as well.

Q5. How many closed beta tests will you do?

We’re planning to do several closed beta tests. We want as many players to experience the game as possible.

Q6. Do I need to agree to an NDA to take part?

No, there are no confidentiality requirements. As long as you observe the Guidelines, you are free to stream, capture, and make content however you like!

Q7. Will there be any differences between the beta test versions and the final version?

Any aspect of the game, from its design to even minor details, may be changed or tweaked. One clear difference is that in the closed beta tests, you can select any character from the start. In the release version, you’ll unlock characters as you play the game, with around half of them initially locked.

Q8. Is chat required to enjoy the game?

No, both voice and text chat are optional. The game is designed to be fun even without them, but it’s definitely a big part of KILLER INN’s appeal. A lively chat makes the game more engaging and really stirs things up!

Q9. Can I play with friends?

You can matchmake in a party of up to 4 players. You and your party members will always be on the same team, be it wolves or lambs.

You can also set up Custom Lobbies (Private Matches) to host your own game or join other players’ lobbies. The host can set the lobby to Public to allow anyone to join or set it to Private and share the Lobby ID, which only the host can see, with friends to allow only specific players to join. You can even fill the lobby with 10 friends while it’s set to Private, then change it to Public to fill the remaining spots!

Q10. What languages will the beta interface and subtitles be available in?

• English

• Japanese

• French

• Italian

• German

• Spanish

• LATAM Spanish

• Brazilian Portuguese

Please note that you may encounter overflows and other language-related issues, which we will fix in future versions.
