Hello Citizens!
From the bottom of our hearts, we wanted to thank you for downloading, testing and helping us improve the pre-Early Access version of City 20. More than 16,000 of you downloaded the demo over the past few months, and the feedback you shared with us was instrumental in shaping the game.
As the start of the Early Access phase approaches quickly (September 23rd is only 10 days away), we have decided that, in the next few days, we'll be taking the demo offline so that we can focus on polishing the next version of City 20. The game has changed a lot in the past few weeks and the demo was but a glimpse of what you can expect when our title launches into Early Access!
Among other things, the EA version of City 20 will include:
- Two factions for you to interact with. One you’re already familiar with (the Raboch) and a brand new one that you’ll need to discover and gain access to. Bit of a sneak peek here: this new faction mainly includes former scientists and soldiers - so expect a lot of new technologies and weapons!
- Expanded gameplay systems including an electricity and water gathering system. We also improved the way factions work, reworked a lot of things for realism, and added dynamic events such as funerals, markets, and so on.
- Improved interfaces, menus, and controls. We’ve also worked hard to improve the initial part of the game, so that City 20 can feel more intuitive and approachable for everyone!
- A lot more to explore. The EA version of City 20 won’t be time-limited and you’ll be able to play for as long as you want. You’ll also be able to buy your own place, furnish it, defend it, and set up your personal HQ.
There is also an extensive roadmap for future content and updates, which we’re planning to share with you in the days immediately following the game’s launch!
With that in mind, thank you again for the support you’ve given us until now! We hope you’ll continue to follow us on our journey to make City 20 an experience we can all enjoy!
See you on September 23rd!
