Hello Citizens!
Update 0.11 is officially live! This patch is a bit smaller than our usual releases, but it brings a highly requested feature to your survival experience, alongside some crucial stability fixes.
While part of the team put together this patch, the rest of us have been working on our next major update (which you can catch a glimpse of at the end of these notes!).
Here is what’s new:
New Construction Mode
It is time to make your property truly yours! Update 0.11 introduces the very first iteration of our brand-new Construction Mode.
Total Placement Freedom: You no longer need to place your relocatables strictly near the walls of your house. You now have the freedom to build and place items anywhere within your property limits!
We want your feedback: Since this is the first iteration of the system, we are looking closely at your feedback. Let us know how it feels, as we are already planning to expand and upgrade this system in future updates!
Stability & Bug Fixes
Crash Fixes: We have fixed multiple instability issues and crashes that were directly reported by the community. Thank you for continuing to send in those reports!
Known Issues
Animation Bug (v0.9 Saves): Loading older saves from version 0.9 can cause your character's arms to get stuck in their previous animation. This is a visual-only issue and will not impact your gameplay.
What’s Next?
As mentioned, this update is a short one, but we would never leave you without a look at what is coming next!
Our team is currently hard at work on the next major update, which is packed with massive content additions and overhauls.
Here is a sneak peek at what we are currently working on:
Expanded Lore & Mysteries: We are diving deeper into the world with expanded city lore and entirely new mysteries to uncover.
New Onboarding: A completely revamped onboarding experience to better welcome you into the harsh realities of the city.
Revamped Areas: Massive overhauls are coming to both the Forests and the Market zones.
New City Central Area: The heart of the city is opening up, featuring a brand-new player property to claim!
Reworked Bulletin Board: We heard your feedback and we are changing how the bulletin board works and looks! You will be in full control and be able to choose the exact quests you actually want to do!
Construction Mode Upgrades: We will be expanding on today's new system, with the addition of new relocatables for you to build and place!
Thank you all for your continuous support, feedback, and bug reports.
Dive into the new Construction Mode, let us know what you think, and get ready for a massive leap forward in our next update.
See you in the City!
