We invite you to read about the fundamental principles of the different factions. Aligning with any of the factions in Organs Please will open up new opportunities for the Factory.
There are two ways to earn the trust of a faction:
Complete special faction tasks. If you assist the Government and recycle undesirable persons, you will receive a point from them. Help collect on a debt and the Tricelli Syndicate will look upon you with favour.
Fulfill faction orders in the factory. Source some bone jelly from a few undesirables and the Virtus Populi will award you with a faction point.
In addition, you will have to prove your loyalty to the faction by giving its followers free passage to the Ark.
When you have gained enough faction points – and enough of a faction’s followers are on the Ark – you will unlock the relevant faction principle. Remember, if the number of faction followers on the Ark decreases, you will lose access to the principle as well.
The Guided Principles
Each faction is also guided by the tenets that underlie its operating principles.
The Government encourages workaholism and will squeeze every ounce of life out of workers, much like a real government. If you can't work anymore, you will be recycled. No one is irreplaceable – there is a line of people who want to work at the Factory. A representative for the Government will gladly work the first shift for free. They will also rat out other employees and report any individual who does not perform well. Recycling such a colleague will increase the snitch's productivity by 200% for the rest of the day.
The adherents of the Virtus Populi are true fanatics and consider recycling people to be the true will of their God. Through the power of faith, they work faster and increase the processing rate. As an additional faction bonus - you will be able to gain two extra hours to fulfill a particularly challenging order.
The power of the Hands of Earth is in unity and quantity. The more people who join the movement, the stronger it is. If you share their principles, you can hire two faction members instead of one regular employee. The faction’s vast intelligence network will also let you know about Ark orders in advance.
And, finally, Tricelli Syndicate members will stop at nothing to achieve their goal. When the mafia rules the Factory, employees handle stress better and even channel it to increase efficiency. You also receive extra bodies in the storage room every morning. Just don't ask unnecessary questions, or you'll find yourself among them.
Needless to say, that's not all the factions have to offer you. Navigating the murky world of politics and balancing relationships with factions is a difficult task indeed. Good luck, overseer!
