Hello, friends!
We have received many reports about problems with coop play in China. We are deeply sorry about this, and the fix is on the way; it will take us a few days to get it ready.
The Problem
We are using Amazon servers to sync the data between players and the server, but they are getting blocked in China. We never knew this would happen and are making an alternative solution for our Chinese players right at this moment.
There are two workarounds:
1. You can try using VPN - this should solve all issues with online play. While it's a less than optimal experience, it should make your game work fine while we are preparing the update.
2. While not a fix, you can always try our single-player campaign while you wait. It has more quests and the first part of the story, which is fun and should keep you occupied for a few days.
Again, we are deeply sorry about the issues. We are doing our best to fix everything ASAP.
Thank you for supporting Spirit of the Island!
