"*I liked Paris just the way it was before. No deaths, no screams. We had a good life, me and Madeleine, my little Dame Française. And then it all went to shit, like it always does, doesn't it?*"
Coming from the cold terrains of the northlands, Torstein's exotic beard and hefty-looking silhouette grabbed attention of many fine ladies of Paris. Famous far beyond the borders of the city, even the king's chef himself would sneak to Torstein's shop to get the best bits, although the king was specific to promote mercantilism and the local tradesmen. But Parisians believed that Torstein's butcher shop, though undeniably pricey, sold the finest goods, often made the north way.
Many women tried, but it was Madeleine, from a tiny village Butte aux Cailles near Paris, who stole the big man's heart. Their love blossomed, sprouting a beautiful daughter.
Yet a bucolic life never lasts forever, and their happiness was broken when their daughter's mysteriously disappeared. Never found, the officials didn't bother to look properly into the case.
"With no eye witnesses, no trail, no suspects, we could even think that you never had a daughter. You're still young, why not work and have a new one?" - summed up Officer Ladamente, who led the investigation.
And soon after the devastated couple began to mourn, beautiful Madeleine came undone, and left without a note too.
Torstein's heart, big and strong, was now in despair, but also in flames. Raging was his hatred for this foreign city, this squalid cesspool. Hence when Ana Tallien knocked on his door one fine evening, announcing the revolt, he did not hesitate about his answer to the call.
"I will personally see to it that your close ones are avenged. Ready for a little hunt, Mr. Northman?" - grinned Ana at him.
"I've been ready a long time. There are far too many heads to chop off in this city."
And such was the birth of Torstein The Butcher - a Rebel fighter like no other.
BOSS CHARACTERISTIC
Despite Tostein The Butcher's broad-shouldered physique, he's an agile and hard-bitten warrior. He's part of the Rebel crew, and one of the mad dogs, angry at the royalty and ready to give it all to Ana's cause.
If he's not swinging his cleaver and chopping heads off, he throws deadly meat hooks that ground the enemy and cause disorientation.
Watch out for the ground bash - you'll get a serious kick out of it if you don't escape in time!
When you piss him off real good, Torstein will reach for his inner energy and stomp to shake the ground beneath him. These tremors might do some serious damage so you better watch out and finish the skirmish quickly.
