We are excited to share our updated roadmap of updates and new content planned for the game. You can read below for extra details.
From The Developers
After a smooth v1.0 launch, we have released several rounds of updates that have consistently improved the experience in Riftbound and we are proud of what we have achieved as a 2 person team. Based on player feedback there have been many fixes, balances improvements and quality of life changes.
The current release (v1.1.0) is really polished and stable, so now we are excited to be turning our attention to new content!
Roadmap Changes
The previous roadmap has changed and now includes even more content. Due to how all of the new content interacts with each other, we have decided to release it as a massive update all at once. We will also be changing our process for this update and releasing it much earlier to the public test branch to get feedback all through development. We encourage you to join our Discord server to get access to the public test branch and share your feedback.
This content is coming as a free update, and there are no microtransactions!
Character Customization
We will be adding some really fun character customization to Riftbound, with the ability to customize your elemental characters with various parts. This system offers a surprising amount of flexibility, allowing you to come up with interesting designs and share them with the world.
Endless Survival Game Mode
The NEW endless survival game mode in Riftbound has been designed with multiple scenarios that involve different types of enemies, so each challenge feels unique. To extend this further, each scenario will have a set of mutators to choose from that tweak the challenge and require you to adjust your strategy.
Summoners Path Game Mode
We are really excited about this new game mode, and it's going to be huge! More details will be announced soon, but the intention of this game mode is to offer a new way to play the game that is highly replayable.

Public Test Branch
We have setup a public test branch that anyone can use to get access to the latest patch before it goes live. I highly recommend joining discord to share your feedback and have your say on changes.
