Greetings!
As you've probably figured out, things aren't always that simple in the world of Anvil Saga. Especially when you're just a blacksmith that has to balance the interests of five rival factions. Today, you'll learn how a little man can change the life of a whole village.

Apart from being able to pick a certain faction and attempt to win their favor for a reward (which we talked about last time), you can also react to various events that pop up regularly.
One day, you may receive an order for a large amount of tools that are needed to build a new levee. Your goal is to complete the order before the river swells. If you decline the order or don’t finish it on time, the village will be flooded. Under these circumstances, the villagers are less likely to come to you with new orders.
But the choice presented by this event isn’t that simple ;) Successful construction of a levee will eventually drain the nearby forest, which, in turn, will lead to forest fires during the hot summer.

You can always ignore an event, but your inaction has consequences. A merchant’s broken cart, a bandit attack, the arrival of an army – almost any situation, no matter how dire, can be used to your advantage. But make the wrong move, and you’ll upset the delicate balance, causing unrest, losing a worker or even damaging the local economy.
That's all for today. Be on the lookout for the messenger next week!
Respectfully,
The Anvil Saga Team
