Olivia's father, Finley, is a successful and respected smith. While he is fond of Arthur, he wants his daughter to marry into wealth, which is why she is betrothed to Jean-Jacues Jr. The problem is that Finley does not know that his soon-to-be son-in-law is just a pretender, unskilled with an anvil and hot iron.
Arthur only has a couple of years to prove that he is worthy of Olivia's hand in marriage and that he can support her. Medieval problems, right?
Arthur's relationship with Olivia and Finley will develop throughout Anvil Saga. By completing orders with a touch of finesse – by adding in extra resources and care during production – you can outdo Jean-Jacques Jr. and prove that you have the chops to run a successful business.
