Greetings!
The art of blacksmithing requires physical strength, focus and attention – becoming a true craftsman is no easy task! But Anvil Saga isn't just about you. After all, you have a shop to run and employees to look after. In fact, we’ve been busy fine-tuning all of the associated mechanics in the game to make sure that running a blacksmith shop during the Middle Ages is as interesting as possible!

For example, the health of Arthur and his apprentices depends primarily on satisfaction and energy levels. Working from dawn until dusk without resting will lead to a loss in efficiency. Exhausted workers are more likely to make mistakes and take longer to complete orders.
Sick workers are more prone to injuries, which could lead to your staff seriously hurting themselves or even dying! As soon as you notice that a worker isn't feeling well, let them rest or have something to eat. Just keep in mind that a stale meal won't do them any good, either.
If a worker's health becomes critical, they might become a burden to you – even if they're recovering at home, you'll still have to pay their wages. Only a doctor, one that also costs money, can heal the sick or gravely injured.
Do you have what it takes to maintain a healthy work-life balance and to stop the forge from running into labor issues? Time will tell ;)
Respectfully,
The Anvil Saga team
