Dear players,
Unfortunately, I had to pause the development of Lying Souls for the last few months due to personal reasons. Now I'm back at work and want to continue developing the game and, above all, keep my promises. Now, you can expect the content update and the planned Chapter 2 in the next few weeks, which will continue the story of the game.
Steam Summer Sale
Until July 11, there is still a 50% discount on Lying Souls with the Steam Summer Sale. So grab it and get the full game and the upcoming content.
Content Update
The content update will add some features that were already planned, but also some that players have requested or criticized for not being in the game. Chapter 2, offers players a new experience anyway. In addition, the Prologue and Chapter 1 will also benefit from the update.
Some upcoming new features:
- Chapter 2 with the largest playable environment so far
- New things to make the game feel more horror-oriented and creepy
- Puzzles and tasks for the player
- More ways to interact with objects
- Completely reworked sound system
- More translations in different languages
- Several QoL changes
And much more. You can read the complete list of new features and changes as soon as the update has been released.
Chapter 2
In the next chapter, the story continues and takes you on a more immersive journey than the previous chapters. There is more for the player to do, more to explore and, above all, more to be scared of. Here are some impressions of Chapter 2:
Even after Lying Souls, the journey is not over.
NOTE: Thank you for playing Lying Souls and for your support & love over the last few months.
