The changes have been implemented over the course of several small updates since Jun.19.
List of changes
Hand-holding
- After start of a new career, the garage side panel is now automatically opened after closing the welcome dialog. You will have to press Esc or Mouse 4 to toggle it as normal afterwards.
- Honking near a pedestrian while going too quickly now displays a mid-screen message instructing to slow down. These instructions stop appearing after you've talked to a few pedestrians, and have other limitations to keep them from being intrusive.
Misc
- Fixed rare crashes related to pedestrian and racer selection RNG.
- Fixed a crash related to changing tach font.
- Removed some leftover debug text in the city.
- The game now launches in windowed mode by default - this is a temporary solution for avoiding startup issues on some systems, while we figure out the cause. You are safe to switch to fullscreen mode after launching the game for the first time!
