In short
Making friends between Painter and first person mode!
List of changes
First person mode for Painter
- Basic support for non-decal modes.
- Mechanic-style alternative layout and inventory behavior, with various Painter-specific tweaks, including the ability to select color using the scroll wheel, smart handling of blocked-out empty slots, and more.
- Painter/mode-specific part info/interaction prompt behavior.
- Whole-part painting has a range of 2 meters (normal first person mode reach).
First person mode
- Improved versatility of part info display and interaction/prompt system.
- Support for using mouse movements for adjustment of objects/values/whatever instead of rotating view, while a key is held. Something similar was already in use for playing with the steering wheel while outside of the driver's seat, but this feature can now be easily implemented for other parts of the game, such as for adjustment of spray size and decal attributes, seat adjustment, etc...
Misc
- Cursor animation system now better handles looped animations, and interruptions of them.
- Smarter handling of labelable slider value printouts.
