In short
Painter refinements complete, you can now cheat at art, and more!
List of changes
Interface
- Vertical mode for sliders.
- Minor element-specific fixes.
Painter
- Two alternative spray nozzles, for different spray intensity and patterns: "Focused" and "Oval", alongside the original. You can now be a lot more precise, and easily draw sharp car art by hand!
- Spray/decal size and orientation can now be adjusted using sliders, instead of the blind button spam.
- Spray/decal size displayed in inches, decal rotation displayed in degrees.
- Slightly extended size adjustment range.
- Color selector now has the usability improvements of the Parts Bin: Scroll wheel or Q/E to change page, and number keys to select color. You can use the keys to change color mid-line!
- More-convenient size/rotation keyboard shortcuts, with stepping to please your OCD, and rotation adjustment that hits exactly 45, 90 and 180 degrees along the way.
- In part painting mode, the name of the currently hovered part is displayed.
- Super-basic support for using the painter in first-person mode. To be worked on next week!
Painter cheats
To activate, type these into the console while in the garage.
- "RICETHERICE": Select the "Oval" nozzle, and go crazy with the mouse, to sprinkle rice onto your ricemobile! Creates a somewhat marker-like effect when drawing normal lines.
- "ARTOFTHEDISTANT": Scales spray size and lowers intensity based on distance between camera and sprayed surface. Select a non-default nozzle to spray psychedelic candy patterns! Darker colors have stronger effect! Cheat effects disabled at below 1m.
Misc
- Improved memory management of console.
