The new VIP Package is now available for purchase! It's a one-time purchase and normally costs $15, but for the first week it's available it will be about 33% off for only $10. The sale will end on 5/20/21.
You'll be given the following after purchasing the VIP Package:
- 20% Chip Discount on all items in the item shop
- 1 free Chip Boost per day to use in a match
- 3 VIP only effects
- 3 VIP only hats
- 3 VIP only pets
- 3 VIP only outfits
- 3 VIP only hairstyles
- 3 VIP only wings
Here's the full list of changes for this update:
- New Stuff
- Players can now purchase a VIP package with a bunch of perks (one-time purchase)
- New users will now have their character aesthetics randomized
- Chat messages are now shown above player characters
- A new tree has appeared in the Social lobby
- Added an outline to player nametags to make them more visible
- Players that disconnect during a match will now have text on their score card showing that they are no longer in the match
- A number is now shown on the friends list button in the Social lobby that indicates how many of your Steam friends are online in the game
- There is now an optional language filter (enabled by default) that can be toggled locally in the settings menu
- Added a rule agreement when starting the game
- The Daily Challenge window now displays the time remaining before they will be refreshed for the day
- Added some new items to the shop alongside the new VIP items
- Changes
- Experience per level has been lowered for the first 10 levels
- The scoreboard during matches is now sorted by overall team performance instead of just by paint score
- Fixes
- Input is now paused when the application is in the background
- The match countdown will now wait for all players to spawn before starting
- Fixed an issue that prevented rank icons from being displayed during matches
- Social lobby chat is now full-sized
