3 NEW RACERS
Three unforgettable characters from Disney and Pixar’s Coco are ready to take over the competition: Miguel Rivera, Héctor Rivera, and Ernesto de la Cruz.
Each racer brings a distinct playstyle inspired by their personality, talents, and connection to the world of music.
THE COCO RACERS’ UNIQUE SKILLS
MIGUEL RIVERA – UN POCO LOCO (Speedster)
Miguel races alongside Dante, turning everyday objects into unexpected obstacles while using the power of music to gain the upper hand.
Uncharged Activation: Dante rushes forward, bumping into objects such as trash cans, food, roof tiles, and flowerpots and turning them into obstacles. Rivals hit by these objects are affected by different effects depending on the item, while Miguel receives a positive effect for every opponent hit.
Charged Activation: Miguel plays his guitar, affecting every opponent on the track. Rivals are slowed and suffer reduced handling for a limited time, while Miguel gains increased top speed.
Passive: After Miguel uses a certain number of unique skills, Dante transforms into his alebrije form and teleports Miguel a short distance forward.
HÉCTOR RIVERA – REMEMBER ME (Trickster)
Héctor Rivera composes songs that grow more powerful throughout the race, rewarding him with increasingly stronger bonuses.
Uncharged Activation: Héctor Rivera composes a song that grants him positive effects. Each additional song increases the number and intensity of these effects, up to a maximum limit. Musical notes appear behind his kart, while magical leaves surround the track as the song takes shape.
Charged Activation: Héctor Rivera takes out his guitar and begins to sing. The more songs he has composed with his Uncharged Skill, the more powerful the bonuses he receives, including increased top speed and acceleration.
Passive: When Héctor Rivera is hit by an opponent’s skill, the duration of his intangible state is increased, making him temporarily immune to additional hits.
ERNESTO DE LA CRUZ – SEIZE YOUR MOMENT! (Brawler)
Ernesto de la Cruz turns the racetrack into his stage, using grand performances and stolen ideas to keep his rivals under control.
Uncharged Activation: Ernesto places stanchions in front of several opponents for a limited time. Rivals who collide with them are slowed, while Ernesto receives a positive effect such as increased speed or Nitro regeneration.
Charged Activation: Ernesto places billboard columns on the track, displaying projections from his films and performances. Opponents who collide directly with a billboard are stunned.
Passive: Ernesto keeps track of the Power-Ups used by opponents during the last few seconds. At regular intervals, he receives a Power-Up based on those he has observed and activates it.
