Engine framework & optimisation updates
We have updated the game engine framework to the latest stable release that will give the game more of a lease of life and more features we can add in the future, optimises have been made for the new lobby map and the old lobby map.
We have added a new selection to the main host menu so you can now select a lobby map, LobbyOne and LobbyTwo, check them out.
Updated LobbyOne
We have been working hard on the lobby maps for this game, Lobby one now has an Interactive playground that you can walk around and walk on, don't forget the roundabout that you can spin just by walking around it, Why not try it with your friends standing on it and try spinning them! Not only the playground but we have added hidden parkour, you can just see it if you look hard enough and get to the platform at the top, it does not end there, you can get yourself 60% around LobbyOne if you find all the hidden blocks!
New LobbyMap
LobbyTwo is the new Lobby map that you can select from the multiplayer host menu before you start a server and WOW have we got something special for you! this map is a city square with a mini football pitch and a few "beachball" sized footballs you can kick around lots of roads to tale a tour. there are also some buildings with scaffolding that you can climb up, there is so much more to come with this lobby in future small updates, you can try out the new Locomotion system by climbing on walls and alike.
New Locomotion System
Some of you may ask what this means so I will tell you, Locomotion is the movement/animation system we have in the game, player movement, climbing, running, walking and a new emote system for ease of access the new emotes to have fun with your friends. Just hold E to see the new menu and new emotes.
This Loco System is being tried ONLY in the lobby, for now, to make sure everything is fine before we move it to the main hunter character for gameplay, please report all bugs on our bugs form or on the steam forums.
Character customisation system
The time has come to give you some customisation for the lobby character (again this is being trialled in the lobbies ONLY, for now, just Press 9 while in any of the lobbies to customise your character! don't forget to hit save though! and when you come back your character will be the same as you left it.
You can customise the look and the clothes of the character, more clothes will come in time if everything is working as it should.
All in all this has been a MAJOR update to the framework for the game and we can not wait to see what you all think of it!
Thank you for joining us on our very first indie game!
