After 3 weeks of sub-level creation, the second Beta for Release Version IV of Enter The Backrooms has been released! Just like the last Beta, this one includes new sub-levels to spice up the generation of preexisting levels in the game. This Beta adds 22 new sub-levels between Levels 9 and 18. It also includes a few fixes to issues from the last beta. Here's all the noteworthy stuff in this Beta:
- 4 New Level 9 Sub-Levels: Garages, Empty Fields, Fenced Neighborhoods, Forests
- 4 New Level 10 Sub-Levels: Roads, Mud Flats, Wheat Fields, Stormy Fields
- 2 New Level 11 Sub-Levels: Stone Cities, Parks
- 2 New Level 12 Sub-Levels: Static Corridors, Glitchrooms
- 3 New Level 13 Sub-Levels: Green Rooms, Webbed Rooms, Wooden Supports
- 3 New Level 14 Sub-Levels: Boulder Fields, Empty Fields, Dense Forests
- 2 New Level 16 Sub-Levels: Flesh Walls, Bright Areas
- 2 New Level 17 Sub-Levels: Rust Rooms, Caution Zones
- New, procedurally generated tree models
- The Broken Pocketwatch has been fixed
- Some hallucinations were broken and have since been fixed
- Portuguese translations were updated by Trickzyy
With this Beta, Release Version IV now has 50 new sub-levels to discover. This is the bulk of what's coming in the full release, but there are still a few sub-levels I'm going to add and I'll probably update the ones that have already been added later on. The next Beta will add some full-sized levels, so keep your eyes peeled for that one! I'll see you again soon.
