We know the road to this moment has been long and bumpy, and we want to sincerely apologize for the years of delays and pushed deadlines. Your patience has been an incredible support to us, and we used every bit of that extra time to polish the details of our universe. We are immensely proud of the game we are handing over to you today, and we hope you have an absolutely fantastic time playing it.
⚔️ Choose Your Experience: 4 Game Modes
We want you to explore the planet exactly the way you like. That is why we have prepared four distinct game modes for you to choose from:
Scientist (Recommended): The most balanced experience, perfectly tuned for a great mix of adventure and exploration.
Survivalist (For Veterans): A tougher challenge for those who like to be pushed to their limits. Your vital stats, such as immunity, will deplete much faster.
Space Hell (Hardcore): The same punishing mechanics as Survivalist, but with permanent death. If you die, the game is over.
Engineer (Custom): We closely followed your feedback after the demo release, and you asked for more control over the world's rules. In this mode, you can fully customize and tweak all gameplay parameters to fit your exact needs. For example, you can completely disable building costs to focus purely on creativity, or meticulously fine-tune your survival experience by adjusting stamina and immunity drain rates. You even have the power to alter environmental mechanics - using options to disable animal aggression, tweak river force, and change material occurrence multipliers - to craft a truly unique version of Sota7.
