TURN OFF AUTO-UPDATE!!!
If Steam has auto-updated your game, try this:
https://partner.steamgames.com/doc/store/application/branches
There's a branch for the obsolete version.
Before you buy the game, please read all the information on the Steam page and definitely try the demo!
Please don't buy the game if you don't like the demo and/or the demo doesn't run fine on your machine! Thank you!
IF YOU WANT TO CONTINUE YOUR CURRENT SESSION, BE IT THE DEMO OR THE RELEASE, DON'T UPDATE YOUR GAME.
This update invalidates your save games. The new version numbers are:
Demo: 1.03
Release: 1.04
-It is highly recommended to restart, even if you are far in the game.
-If you decide to restart, delete your old save games first.
Path: Users > AccountName > AppData > LocalLow > Game Psych LLC > Tortured Hearts
-Then uninstall your current version and install the new one.
-If you continue playing the older version, you may encounter a few issues due to an earlier update. If this happens, no need to worry, I will fix them for you, if any. It's just a bit complicated.
-Achievements have been enabled and can be achieved now. They will only work with the new Release version if you restart the game.
-Likewise, achievements are not working with the Demo.
-The discount will last for a week. Grab your copy today! (If you have checked the gameplay videos and tried the demo as well.)
Additional stuff:
-An obscure, but severe issue with object creation has been eliminated
-One of the Hafrartum quests had a story advancement issue. Luckily, it wasn't a very common situation.
-3 high level quests on Hix had rare issues, 1 was hit by an earlier update.
-One of the Real Titles has an additional HP boon.
-The condition of another Real Title has been streamlined.
-An entry of a high level quest has been expanded a bit.
-4 typos corrected in the English version.
I'm sorry for each and every issue that was left in the previous version.
If you find any issue, please notify me via e-mail: [email protected]
