What's up Agents! Its been a while since the last patch came out for the game, and because of that I think now is a good time to update everyone on the state of the game!
Version 1.1?
First things first, the new Update. What does it contain? The 1.1 update is a (mainly) future proofing update, has the biggest and more complicated features will be on the back end. However, that's not to say there's nothing tangible. So here are a few of the changes.
One, the majority of sprites are being updated. this include towers, enemies, environment pieces, and other minor changes.
Two, the aspect ratio will now be kept consistent for most monitors. This basically means that the game wont have the black borders on the sides, and squished or deformed pixels, (if you noticed it before.)
Three, Balance changes to maps and enemies and a couple towers. To give you 2 examples is in Moneybags (enemy) and the level Forest. both being changed for the better.
Last little sneak peak I'm giving you is SAVE FILES, you will be able to save 3 savefiles now! Along with some proper and new options to play with.
Ill will be posting more sneak peaks in the future, so get ready to play more Mothercore soon(ish) in the SHOE POLISH Update!
Where has the dev been?
I've mainly have been finishing up high-school and getting ready to shift over to college. develop has been slow, I was hoping to get a bulk of this update done around the end of October, however because of external reasons I can't give the game my full attention.
With that said, I have a lot of plans for the game, and want to continue working on this game until I reach that end. so I hope you all will stick with me while I improve and develop this game!
I will at some point release a Roadmap for the next few update, to give you all a image of what's to come in the next few years!
