We added 3 new courses last week: Rocky Mountain 02, Rocky Mountain 03, and Rocky Mountain 04, rounding out a nice set of courses to play in this new environment. There's not a lot to say about them other than we think they all feel very different from eachother. Check 'em out and let us know what you think on the Discord.
The new pistol, the Bertino 2011, has been added to the game. This brings our first non-striker fired pistol to the mix. It's available with and without a red dot. We hope you like it.
We fixed a number of bugs last week, the biggest of which was a bug where the red dots would drift based on the shooter's rotation. This was a difficult bug to track down, so thanks again to the shooters on the Discord who gave detailed reports on it. Please let us know if you see any other cases that cause the red dot to drift or have a really odd point of impact.
We're also continuing work on the optimization side of things. There really shouldn't be anything visually different, but users with lower end systems may see a slight improvement in framerate. This is an ongoing effort with incremental gains that hopefully over time will address most performance issues shooters are experiencing.
This week, we've begun work on some new target types. We're trying out some more dynamic moving target types. Once we have these, we're hoping it will help us get some more variation out of existing course layouts eventually enabling us to create a bunch of courses fairly quickly.
The High Country Hootenanny concluded earlier this week, thanks to everyone who participated!
And of course, development on the course editor is continuing this week. Not much to report here, but we just wanted to mention we're still hammering out that feature.
Thanks,
12 Gauge Savior
