Our practical shooting mode is coming along. Scoring is now presented as hit factor, which is based on points earned divided by time. We're also getting more rules in place, so some procedural penalties are now being detected, such as shooting no shoots, extra shot/hit for Virginia rules, etc. Practical shooting has a lot of rules, so standby as we get all of these in. The 180° rule should be coming in this week's update, and will be applied to the WBPSA practice classifiers, so stay safe out there!
We have a new movement option available in the settings, you can now set your player movement to be relative to your controller instead of your headset. This may help some of you perform reloads while moving better. In our experience, it takes a lot of practice to get used to.
Our shooters come in all shapes and sizes, and now, so does our belt! We're still making tweaks, and this week we've added some rotational snapping to allow easier grabbing of attachments specific to the firearm you're holding. Remember, you can position things on your belt where you like, so open up that menu, get it set up for yourself, and then hop in the Discord to tell us what you think.
Progress is moving along with Tournaments internally. We're hoping to be able to test locally next week, and get a tournament rolled out for everyone the following week. There's like a million things that could go wrong, so standby for updates on that timeline.
Finally, I want to thank the shooters that popped in our live stream last Friday. We're getting more comfortable with it, having more fun, and it's great to have some live interaction with our Discord users. You can find replays of our stream on our Twitch Channel.
Keep the feedback comin',
