Since the last State of the Game two weeks ago (sorry 'bout that, Shooters), we've added some pretty great stuff to the game.
First off, we've added a new course, Fox Hole 06, which has designated shooting zones. We hope you like it as much as we do. We've also added 3 new WBPSA courses, 06-01, 06-02, and 06-04. We dig 'em and we'll be adding more in the coming weeks.
We've also added a new firearm, the Grizlikov 80 (GK-80). This is our modernized AK pattern rifle, built for competition for the shooters that just can't accept AR pattern rifles being the go-to platform for 3Gun. It accepts all the current optic attachments, so you can still run your LPVO with an offset Red Dot if you like. It also supports the "classic" AK reload. We'd like some feedback on how this feels, so come sound off in the Discord and let us know how we did.
There's also a couple of Quality of Life improvements. The Leaderboard now has a "Self" tab where you can view your 10 best personal scores. We've been tracking them the whole time, so this should be populated the first time you look at it. We've also added a configurable dead zone to the movement input. Feedback was positive on this improvement to aiming (and therefore toggling the safety), so we brought it over to the movement input as well. This may help those unfortunate shooters who don't have dedicated thumbsticks.
The vanishing magazine bug should be fixed, or at least we finally found a reliable way to reproduce the bug, and have since squashed the bug. Let us know if you still see any disappearing mags, especially if you can make it happen reliably.
Lastly, work is continuing on the upcoming p320 pattern pistol. This was by far the most requested pistol in our Firearms Survey, so we're taking our sweet time and gettin' it right.
If it's been a while since you've hopped in game, you should give it a go. Steady progress has been made and we're now up to 36 3gun Courses, and 10 WBPSA Classifiers! There's a couple new guns and plenty of courses to try them out on.
