Sadly no Desktop+ booth (what would that even look like?), but I'm technically an exhibitor.
I'll be volunteering at the booth of my good friends of the DragonBox Shop. You can find us in hall 10.2 in the retro area, from the 24th to the 28th (so all days of the expo).
There's not going to be anything VR-related there, but if you want to say hi, chill playing some old consoles or try new handhelds without waiting in any line, be our guest.
This is just something I wanted to try since I'll be there anyways. So if you do happen to be at gamescom as well, please feel free come by and say hello. If you find some staff that happens to be not me, you can ask them for a guy named Alex and they might point you towards me.
Maybe I'll see some of you there, would be really neat.
What about NewUI Preview 8?
Aside from being perpetually busy, there were some issues with library upgrades that took some time to get right. Best part with these is that you don't really notice anything different when done right, so it's not the flashy kind of thing.
The next build will get updated Dear ImGui (not really exciting, just the UI framework used) and Chromium versions (probably a little bit more exciting?).
Beyond that I don't really know yet. Things need to be done first. And they're done when they're done.
