Earlier today when I uploaded the new seeds version, it had a few issues.
Issues
First issue was regardless if you picked procedural or realistic well you were trying realistic. Maybe you didn't even know, but you were. A bit of code I had used to initially test the system before I added the ability to select got left in. This is now working correctly.
Second issue relates to the leader boards. First I was pushing wrong info to some of the boards, but worse is old client saves pushing crazy data to the boards at all.
Fix
I have now setup a system that checks your save file version, and decides to post or not post based on that variable. I have set it up like this so moving forward, when we do a new league or event. Old data can not be used to get on the new board. This is not really changeable by the player only I on the engine end have the ability to set saves to post or not. Unless you are some crazy code hacker, and can change the save file. If you can do that, damn OK you can have a top 10 spot, the effort alone is probably more time than just playing the game well would take, thanks to epics encryption. Although I will be moving saves to steam cloud during EA, but I will always keep local saves as well cause the internet can go down, why limit a game.
Apology
I need to apologize to the hand full of people playing the game tonight. I was literally coding / debugging, and I see you live posting scores to the boards. It's honestly freaking incredible, I love it. However, I sadly have to wipe those score, and deny you current saves from tonight, from posting more scores. I am super Sorry about that, and I wouldn't do it if it wasn't necessary. We need clean data for the "Hall of Fame", which if you haven't yet, check that out and see all the great players so far. One guy made 37 small games??? That is honestly mind blowing, and I love that guy whoever you are (Help / Me).
Unfortunately though I do have to wipe your hard work from tonight, and I am super sorry about that. I know you will understand, cause your all amazing people. This should make the boards good to go for this event till June / 01 if you want to get yourself immortalized on the Hall of Fame for a first or maybe a second time, now is your chance.
