Attention, citizens of Haven.
In these scorching summer months, we've been making progress with Haven and its many residents. Today's changes will make the different areas of Haven's sewers look more distinct from one another. We are also bringing you an overhaul to the Mission Selection menu, along with several other fixes. Here are all the details:
New features
Completely overhauled the Mission Selection menu. The story mission progression is now clearer, along with the randomly generated story missions.
Overhauled the lighting of the levels. Expect sharper-looking environments, with multiple variations of postprocessing and lighting palettes in each room.
Praise The Minister! The Mission Merchant has set up shop and is now fully functional. The players can collect Mission Currency from chests and by completing challenges in the Mission. This currency can be spent at the Merchant for sweet player bonuses.
Added more voice lines and dialogues to key beats in the story missions and to the Merchant.
Bugfixes & Gameplay Changes
We made many improvements to the Online Co-op mode to resolve several multiplayer issues at once. Fixed a crash at the end of the second story mission caused by a mismatch in the mission progress. It is now perfectly synchronized between the players.
Based on your feedback, we updated the tutorial with additional steps and clearer instructions on the game’s core mechanics.
We’ve added more randomized pathways to the mix and rebalanced some of the old ones.
Adjusted the Linebreaker ability’s hitbox. Now it should hit the enemies in front of Vuk more consistently.
Disabled player character movement and abilities during cinematics.
Implemented additional player character and enemy animations; all characters should now move more smoothly.
Thank you for playing & see you in Haven!
