In Maritime Calling we aim to show the ship exactly as it was - a living town, bursting with activity. Moving town that is actually a vehicle which gets you from one place to another.
The crew is the lifeblood of the ship, making sure it runs smoothly. As a captain, it's your job to make plans for every situation: day shift, night shift, combat and land expedition.
Raising sails, dropping anchor, measuring depth, cooking food, cleaning and repairing hull - this is just a handful of activities that sailors are performing on the ship. Different types of ship also have unique workplaces, and you can unlock other occupations by developing specific innovations.
Experience, skills and traits play a key role, determining whether sailor will succeed in any task or fail. From losing health, crew morale to even tragic deaths - running a ship was never an easy task.
