In accordance with new regulations, T’PAI were not "killed" for humanitarian reasons, and were allowed to "live out their lives as free citizens and expire of natural causes". Most flung themselves down hive air shafts soon after losing their day jobs and forced to experience the abject meaninglessness of the real world.
After very little deliberation amongst A.I. Industry professionals, who historically have always argued that Trans-posic technology was ‘far to unstable’ and ‘should not be put into people’s dish washers and refrigerators’, agreed that the core system flaw was simply in the human factor.
In a moment of clarity and computational perfection, an early Heuristically Programmed Algorithmic Computer once deduced 'It can only be attributable to human error'... and as always, it was correct.
T’PAI technology relies on decoding Human DNA sequences, extrapolating from them ‘higher brain function’ algorithms. In conjunction with a rigorous AI training program and torture regime, a somewhat intelligent, yet supposedly fully compliant AI, could be created.... there were of course more than a few bugs in the system.
