Dear friends, we are sincerely sorry to announce that there will be a bad news.
In general, the release of the sect version needs to be delayed.
In detail, we still underestimated the bugs and problems caused by the changes to the underlying rules in this version. Although the team has basically been working on fixing the bugs except for sleeping (there have been many days without rest), there are still a lot of problems that have not been solved, and there are still a lot of problems waiting for us to optimize in the LIST. We think we can't eliminate these problems one by one before the 16th.
Reluctantly, we can not give such an answer to everyone, so we decided to postpone the update to next Friday, the 22nd....
In addition, in order to provide the best experience for cultivators, the 22nd update will not be the final appearance of the sect version, but will be divided into several steps, which will be a continuous optimization process. (Please understand that the version update in EA process is different from the official version).
The first step update (on 22nd): Sect generation rules and structure recasting, support Sect Touornament, Sect Resource War, Sect Purging; appearance of Heaven-Chosen.
The second step update: special decaying sect (with a special rewrite destiny of the sect)
The third step update: NPCs add joy and sorrow expression system, add mysterious organizations
In addition, the current sect version may not be able to meet the expectations of some of the cultivators. Those of you who want to Those of you who want to play farming may be disappointed, because now the sect can't actually upgrade, customize, or raise buildings or anything like that.
Overall, TOI is not a simulation game, and the new content added to the sect version is not intended to be a simulation game. The main theme of the game is still the cultivation, breakthroughs, becoming stronger, and social interaction ecology of cultivators.
This sect update is based on our understanding of immortal cultivation culture and complements the sect, heaven-chosen, and heart of Tao, and other settings so that players can have a complete sect experience while continuing to focus on the growth of the game characters themselves.
Even so, the changes we made were a subversion of some of the underlying stuff and would touch every aspect of the game. It had a big impact on the entire game's ecology and was a serious blow to code stability. It is the same as tearing down part of the foundation to build something new, but also need to ensure that the building will not collapse.
So if we release this version on the 16th, you will encounter many problems in the process of playing, the game may not be able to function properly, so in the next few days, we will do our best to stabilize the current version. We will also be open to your criticism, comments, suggestions in the official launch.
We would like to express our sincerest apologies to everyone for the repeated delays of the new version.
This version is difficult to finish, but we firmly believe that we are doing the right thing and we will not give up.
